The steps in Alexa,
- Create your account in Alexa
- go to the top bar that says “Site Tools”
- on the bottom you will find “Claim my site”
- write your URL on the space i.e. http://andreacalleblog.com
- you will select option number 2, Or, add this meta tag to the home page of : Select all the meta tag that appears and Copy it.
- sign in
- go to appearance
- Select editor
- then select editor
- header
- paste the code
- hit update file
if this doesn’t work,
- go by to your blog
- go to tools
- Available tools
- in the bottom you will see “webmaster tool verification”
- there you have the options of Google Webmaster Tools, yahoo Webmaster Tools, bing Webmaster Tools
- you will paste the code generated by Alexa in the Google Webmaster Tools
- press save changes
To verify your wordpress.com blog in Yahoo
- Go to yahoo Site Explorer
- put your site URL and press add my site
- choose the second option “ By adding a META tag to my home page.”
- Copy the meta tag provided
- sign in
- go to appearance
- Select editor
- then select editor
- header
- paste the code
- hit update file
if this doesn’t work,
- go by to your blog
- go to tools
- Available tools
- in the bottom you will see “webmaster tool verification”
- there you have the options of Google Web master Tools, yahoo Webmaster Tools, bing Webmaster Tools
- you will paste the code generated by Yahoo in the Yahoo Webmaster Tools
- press save change
To verify your wordpress.com blog in Bing
- Go to Bing webmaster tool
- Press to Add site
- put your site URL and press Submit
- choose the second option “ Option 2: Copy and paste a tag in your default webpage“
- Copy the meta tag provided
- sign in
- go to appearance
- Select editor
- then select editor
- header
- paste the code
- hit update file
if this doesn’t work,
- go by to your blog
- go to tools
- Available tools
- in the bottom you will see “webmaster tool verification”
- there you have the options of Google Web master Tools, yahoo Webmaster Tools, bing Webmaster Tools
- you will paste the code generated by Yahoo in the Yahoo Webmaster Tools
- press save change
